          Dempsy Givans AKA DJ Dempsy, is an American Jamaican Record Producer, Podcast Dj / Personality, International Dj, and Label executive. As a teenager, Dempsy moved from his hometown of Kingston Jamaica to Tampa Florida. In Tampa, he found a love for dancing and DJing. 

          With a passion for being the best, Dempsy set out to hone his talents by training with other prominent Florida talents. Some of those talents were Bboy Red & Dj Nano. Dancers like Bboy red helped Dempsy develop his dancing skills, while Dj's like nano helped Dempsy develop his skills with turntablism.

          In 2013, Dempsy was offered the opportunity to DJ for the Pepsi-sponsored "Luminosity Ignite The Night" tour. During his time with Pepsi, Dempsy Dj'ed and performed in front of nearly 5 million attendees, spread over 600 events. His performances during this time led to major brands seeing his talent and potential.          

          After touring with Pepsi's Luminosity tour for 2 years, Dempsy was invited by Carnival Cruiselines to tour DJ for their headlining act "Recycled Percussions" (a band from the TV show America's got talent). After excepting the position, Dempsy would go on to travel the Caribbean and South America for the next 3 years.

Dempsy built a network of people as he frequented places like Bermuda, Grand Turks, Bahamas, Mexico, and more. Performing to crowds of no less than 4,000 attendees, sometimes 4-5 nights a week. 

          Having success in what he loved, Dempsy felt compelled to nurture and inspire others. With the goal to become a conduit for music and those in it, Dempsy founded "Dempsy Productions"(an Event and Festival company), "Dempsy DJs" (employing 20+ DJs), and helped to launch Indy Legends (an Independent Music Promotions company) where he now sits as Chairman of A&R. "I just want to use my network and understandings of the music business to guide other DJs and artists to successful careers" says Dempsy.
